This is an 1890's Possum Belly Dough Table with the original hutch! The bottom part, the dough table has the 2 original bottom pieces for flour and sugar. They are in excellent condition and not showing any signs of rust, holes or pin holes. They are in great condition and also have the utensil drawers right above. Both pieces have been freshly shabby chic'd in barn red and lightly distressed. The drawers inside have been left original and are in a minty green color! The belly drawers are original metal color and have never been painted.

The hutch is what makes this piece even more spectacular! It is so hard to find the original hutch that goes with the dough tables! It has 3 drawers on the bottom and 2 doors with glass and the original latch to hold the doors together. I did not paint the inside of the hutch as the wood was so beautiful.

There are all new drawers pulls on each drawer as what was not on there wasn't correct, trust me when I say this. This lovely girl was in 3 shades of ugliness and I had to do her justice by making her beautiful in barn red! She is sturdy, beautiful, stunning, and ready to go to her new home! She is quite the find for the shabby chic and primitive lover! Or, even if you just love history...this one is it!!!!
