All I can say is WOW! I am a true Victorian Era lover and collector and when I came across this amazing ring I couldn't wait to show my jeweler as he adores the precious jewels of these wonderful eras himself.
With extensive research along with my knowledge and my jeweler's of Victorian jewels we are pleased to bring to you a true piece of late Victorian jewelry history. This is a true gem of a beauty with 10 amazing and beautiful white opals and an amazing Almandine rose cut center stone that are all prong set. All stones are in beautiful condition for being 135+ years old. Simply AMAZING!
No work was needed for this beauty! She is ready to wear and be loved like she was in her first life!
She is a lovely size 7 and would be perfect as a stunning cocktail ring. It does have the stamp of 14k along with "MANY" for Germany. It is known that Germany made beautiful jewels and started marking them in the early 1880's. Queen Victoria became a lover of opal, kept a fine personal collection, and wore opals throughout her reign.
I would love to see this gorgeous piece of history go to someone who collects rare and beautiful Late Victorian jewelry or to someone who will love it and wear it like she needs to be loved again! $789.00
