Here is a beauty if I have ever seen one!!! A rare to find 1917, WORKING, Elgin, 15 jewel, open faced, Lady Raymond wrist watch.
Serial # 19649263 on the inside of the works. This amazing watch appears to have the original stretch watch band. The band is unmarked and doesn't have any stretching. This would fit a 6.5 to 7.5 inch wrist comfortably.
The dial has nice patina, with blue-black steel hands and black numbers. The watch crystal has minimum wear. It is a pendant wind and set and a grade 399.
The inside case is signed Wadsworth Referee Warrented 20 years 5/0 with serial number 2994036. Along with this writing, their are many jeweler marks for servicing.
This watch was tested and has run for over 12 hours with no problems. No problem setting or winding this watch. I would suggest a servicing with a trusted watch repairer as I am not sure when it has been serviced last.
The actual watch has been tested and tests 10k with the band testing 10k rolled gold. Has been tested with a PMI gun.
This watch is a true, working antique wrist watch that is rare to find. It is quite amazing and quite beautiful. This watch is 99 years old and still works!!!! Very nice antique collector's watch! $389.00
